He's Out

I wasn't going to post this, but secrets asked me to, so here you go. Antonio Beaver was set free last Thursday in St. Louis, Mo. The Judge was incensed at the results of the DNA. The prosecuters office along with the Inncence Project filed a joint motion to dismiss all charges. My co-council, Nina Morrison, along with his public defenders were there when he was released. This happened much faster than I anticipated and I am thrilled. I am new to the appeals process, after 20 years fighting the death penalty at the jury level, and think I am going to enjoy fighting for people who I really believe are innocent...instead of creeps for whom I was fighting against an unjust punishment.
